Stakeholder Program Update Meeting – Nuwakot District

An update program was organized in coordination with Education Coordination Unit (EDCU), Nuwakot and four municipalities- Shivapuri, Panchakanya, Tarkeswor and Kakani at EDCU office on 11, August 2025. The objective of the program was to update the stakeholders about assessment, learning and development findings and to plan together for supervision and monitoring of assessment. In total 9 participants attended the program.

Process

Ms. Honey Malla started a program with an introduction to Golden Community as some of the participants were not present during the orientation program.

Mr. Netra Lal Sunar then continued with the presentation of PowerPoint slides with orientation, selection of schools, community sensitization, and school enrolment campaigns.

Mr Omkar Basnet did a final presentation about the developmental and learning assessment including findings, particularly, developmental delays and disabilities. He also updated the referrals did after the screening to the nutrition office.

Discussion was concluded with commitment from the Golden Community to bridge the communication gap with municipalities and submit progress update report.
